This bot runs "Slouching Towards Bedlam," an interactive fiction game where the story unfolds through text as you type in commands and decisions — a chat-based version of a classic text adventure rather than a game with graphics or buttons. It's a recognized piece of interactive fiction, having taken first place at the 2003 Interactive Fiction Competition, so it's aimed at people who enjoy narrative-driven, choice-based games.
