It's really hard to make any predictions about the time when the emergency will be over. But I hope the whole travel industry will recover soon.

2020-02-20 16:20:20 Wengji village - 翁基村 (in Lancang county) is an hidden gem in southern Yunnan. One of the reasons why there are few tourists is that it takes quite a while to get there. You need to hire a private driver since there are no public buses in the area.

The village is famous for the traditional Dai and Bulang houses, one of the few left in China. Have you haver heard of this place?

Here's an interesting fact: historically, cormorant fishing has taken place in Japan and China, as well as Greece, North Macedonia, and, briefly, England and France.
