THE NEW HEAD OF THE LEADING FRENCH NEWSPAPER IS AN ISRAELI SPY Dov Alfon is the new chief editor of "Libération", the leading French newspaper, comparable to the Guardian.
It turns out that Mr. Alfon is an Israeli citizen who served as an officer in the Israeli Army's 8200 Unit, a special unit tasked with monitoring and spying on various groups and countries.
Liberation is owned by Israeli billionaire Patrick Drahi.
Libération is the main French newspaper along with Le Monde.
Libération is left-leaning and often opens its platform to political extremists. The newspaper had made a polemic by publishing a tribune encouraging pedophilia, accompanied by a picture showing a young boy giving fellatio to an adult.
