BE QUICK TO FORGIVE

Bearing with one another, and forgiving one another, if anyone has a complaint against another; even as Christ forgave you, so you also must do. Colossians 3:13

Lily came to school with a sullen face because she was upset with her brother Derek. “I can’t forgive him” she said to her best friend, Amy. But Amy showed Lily in God’s Word that she could, and should forgive Derek, for she was full of God's love. “You're right Amy. God loved and forgave me in Christ, I should do the same too”.

As God's child, you shouldn't find it difficult to forgive people when they hurt you. Remember God's love has been shed abroad in your heart by the Holy Spirit (Romans 5:5). So, be quick to forgive, and do so wholeheartedly.
