THIRST FOR THE LORD

As the deer pants for the water brooks, so pants my soul for You, O God. My soul thirsts for God, for the living God… Psalm 42:1-2

Imagine being so thirsty and your mum offered you a cool drink, I’m sure that would have made your day.

When you thirst for God, it means you’re longing for Him. A thirsty animal will go miles to find a source of water. In the same way, you should go all out for God and His Word. Study and meditate on the Word daily. You should, “…more than anything else, put God’s work first and do what he wants...” (Matthew 6:33 CEV).
