A growing manufacturing company in Kality, Addis Ababa is in need of an inventory accountant
Duties & Responsibilities
1. Maintaining, controlling stocks in the factories to ensure efficiency and safe handling of all the
materials and items in the store.
2. Reconciling inventory accounts to ensure accurate financial reporting
3. Forecasting supply and demand to prevent overstocking and running out-of-stock.
4. Performing counts on both purchases and sale before delivering or receiving.
5. Placing and receiving orders of raw materials as per the demand and ensuring they do not
exceed the budget.
6. Filing the goods receiving voucher, store issue voucher, and store transfer note after ensuring
they are recorded and numbered correctly.
7. Posting incoming and outgoing stock into the system.
8. Preparing weekly, monthly and annual reports for raw materials purchased, work in progress
and finished goods.
Qualification
BA Degree in Accounting
Knowledge of proper bookkeeping and inventory management
At least 2 years’ experience in store keeping, inventory control, or record keeping
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Excellent knowledge in Excel and an ERP software
English speaking candidate is preferred
