Hemoglobin A1C test measures the amount of blood glucose attached to hemoglobin. As hemoglobin is part of our red cells, hemoglobin A1C test can only be determined from a whole blood specimen that contains red blood cells. Specimen for Hemoglobin A1C is collected with the #Levander top #EDTA test tube. It produces abnormally low result if specimen is collected with SST (golden-top) test tube, which causes the blood to clot quickly and allows only the serum for testing.

#Estradiol (E2)

Estradiol, the predominant form of estrogen in non-pregnant women, is important in maintenance of reproductive and fertility function. It is used to determine causes of infertility, pubertal problems, menstrual problems and menopausal symptoms. Estradiol level is also used to assess response to treatments and diagnose ovarian tumors.

#Progesterone

Progestrone is another hormone that is importan for the maintenance of pregnancy and lactation. It is used to determine causes of infertility.

H.pylori, a small spiral-shaped bacteria, is implicated in the etiology of a variety of gastrointestinal diseases, including gastric and duodenal ulcer, non-ulcer dyspepsia and acute and chronic gastritis.

Our H.pylori stool antigen test is qualitative test for the detection of H.pylori in fecal specimens. It has 99.1% and 99.2% sensitivity and specificity respectively.
