California will hold a special Recall Election on Tuesday, September 14 to recall Governor Gavin Newsom.
On the ballot, voters will be asked two questions:
1) First, should Gavin Newsom be recalled from the office of Governor? Yes or No?
2) Second, if “Yes” who would you want to be Governor of California. Voters will pick one from the list of 46 candidates.
If more than 50% of voters say that Newsom should be recalled, the candidate with the most votes in the second question will serve the rest of Newsom’s term and be Governor of California.
