Regulating documents in the field of technical control will be systematized

The Government Resolution “On additional measures to systematize regulating documents in the field of technical control” was adopted (No. 110, February 26, 2021).

The resolution establishes the priority areas for systematization of regulating documents in the field of technical direction, and also approved the composition of the Interdepartmental Commission for the systematization of regulating documents in this field.

According to the document, a Project Office will be formed under the Ministry of Justice and the Interdepartmental Commission of the Antimonopoly Committee externally forming a legal entity.

The project office fulfills the duties of the working organization (commission), its head, and management personnel is appointed and dismissed by the chairman of the commission.

The project office organizes the activities of the previously formed working groups on reforming regulating documents in the field of technical regulation, as well as methodically ensures the actions of collegial bodies in this area.

At the same time, the Project Office submits to the Interdepartmental Commission for consideration reasonable proposals on the cancellation of normative acts in the field of technical regulation that have a direct impact on entrepreneurial activity, on making appropriate changes to it, or on the implementation of international norms and standards.

It was established that the Interdepartmental Commission, by January 1, 2022, will develop and submit to the Government recommendations on the systematization of governing documents in the field of technical regulation, including their optimization, harmonization with international norms and standards, and harmonization based on modern requirements.
