2023-01-21 16:35:40 Let us as fathers never allow the world to cause us to abdicate our responsibilities to shepherd our own family and children!


“Give ear, O my people, to my instruction; Incline your ears to the words of my mouth.
I will open my mouth in a parable; I will pour forth dark sayings of old,
Which we have heard and known, And our fathers have recounted to us.
We will not conceal them from their children, But recount to the generation to come the praises of Yahweh, And His strength and His wondrous deeds that He has done.

2023-01-15 17:24:14 In considering the newest book expected to launch at the end of Jan, I was reminded by a special proofreader that, God’s got this! Here was the portion shared today!

“1 Kings 17:7
7 It happened after a while that the brook dried up, because there was no rain in the land.”

The same God who provides through the droughts of life, the same God who shows up in extraordinary ways, will as well take care of you when the brook runs dry! Remember, it's in those moments when we most depend on God that He works in extraordinary ways, when the judgments of God can become a blessing. If we have a proper perspective of who God is, we know that it's in those moments of drought that God is teaching the wicked king a lesson when we learn absolute dependence on God ourselves. So whatever struggle you are facing today, know that there is a God who is able, who knows, sees, and ……..

CHAPTER 9
AN INVITATION TO MOVE!
John 7:32-39

The story was told of an extremely cold, winter day. A carcass lay floating on the icy Niagara River. An eagle, flying overhead, spied the easy prey below and descended upon it. He began to eat. As he did, the water of the river began slowly pushing the flow toward the falls. Could not the eagle stretch forth his great wings and fly? Could he not, at the very brink of the falls, leap to the safety of the air? Had he not done so a thousand times before? Without worry, he slowly continued to eat. As he ate, the water of the river began pushing the flow faster and faster, and closer and closer, to the falls, until the roar of the falls began to echo throughout the canyon. The eagle waited until the very mists of the falls began rising above his head. Finally, he stretched forth his great wings to fly. Unknown to him, his massive claws had become frozen in the flesh of his prey, and now, attached to the carcass, he was frozen solid and caught in the flow. His fate was sealed. He struggled, and he struggled, and he tried to get away, but he could not, until, at last, the frozen carcass went over the falls and onto the rocks below. You see, that eagle had waited too long.

Isn’t that just like us to think we can wait just a little while longer? Don’t we tend to reason, like this eagle, that we can hold on just a bit more? “Oh, I can simply wait one more day.” Today, Christ wants to offer you an invitation to move. Don’t wait. Don’t hold fast to what you have been, but rather, move! This is a message to both the believer and the unbeliever! It’s an invitation to move!

Progress Plan:

The God of Elijah will launch the End of Jan and Book two of John, I will be shooting for March 2023.
