Love is the unknowable. It can be realized only when the known is understood, transcended & when the mind is free of the known.
What Is Love To Most Of Us?
In our love, there is possessiveness, dominance, or subservience.
From this arises jealously & fear of loss, & we legalize this possessive instinct. From this arise the innumerable conflicts with which each one is familiar. Surely it is not love. Nor is love sentimental or emotional, it excludes love. Sensitivity & emotions are merely sensations.
Love alone can transform insanity, confusion, & strife. No system, no theory of the left or of right can bring peace and happiness to humans.
Where there is love, there is no possessiveness, no envy; there is mercy & compassion, not in theory, but actually—for your wife, children, neighbor & your servant..
Love alone can bring about mercy & beauty, order & peace. There is love with its blessingwhen “you” cease to be.
