I want to be clear about my view on COVID at this point. Yes, | The Paranormies Present

I want to be clear about my view on COVID at this point.

Yes, there are major signs that the narrative is unravelling (or being allowed to unravel). England, Scotland and Ireland are abandoning most measures. The US Supreme Court struck down Biden's vaccine mandate. An EU medical body has declared 6-month vaccine boosters potentially damaging to people's immune systems.

At the same time, there are countries that are doubling down on measures: Austria, France, Germany, Italy, Canada and Australia. Maybe these countries will "get with the programme" and align with Britain over the next few months. I suspect that they will.

But, even if COVID is ending, it is not really ending, because the changes it wrought upon society will remain and act as springboards for more changes in the future. So this should not be seen as a "gotcha" for those people who have down-played the "conspiracy" angle from the start (or even sided with the globalists, because "muh cool state power") and called people like me "conspiritards" for the last 18 months. The public's psychology has been altered, and society and culture have been re-shaped. These changes will not simply vanish. Almost certainly, what will happen is the UN's agenda will continue, building upon the various things that we "conspiritards" have been discussing since mid 2020.

We have also been warning about those future issues which COVID portends. So, no, we are not "pivoting" to these things now that COVID appears to be on the wane. We have been saying this stuff for 18 months.

Yes, the next major thing will be climate change. And digital ID. And centralised digital currency. And vaccination passes, which we know the public in most countries have been successfully persuaded to want. None of this stuff will now be called off, just because Omicron has (possibly) retired COVID as a social engineering tool. They will simply find other tools; climate change, resource shortage and over-population will obviously be among those.

I would also suggest, as I alluded to earlier, that Omicron has not retired COVID by accident. The powers-that-be have been very adept at twisting data, hiding the truth, suppressing narratives etc. over the last 18 months. If they wanted to claim that Omicron is actually more dangerous than Delta, I believe they could easily make that case. They are deciding not to. The truth (for now) is whatever they want it to be. The COVID hysteria did not start because of "the data", and I don't believe it is ending because of "the data". Then and now, the required data has been found to justify the desired policy.

Either that, or one faction within the elite has wrested control from whichever faction had the ship's wheel for the last 18 months. No social class is one single homogeneous thing, after all, and there will be disagreements and competition even at a very high level. This would explain why different countries (which have hitherto been very synchronised in policy) are now flailing around: orders from the bridge are confused, as multiple factions vie for predominance.

As I said at the start (of this post, and of this saga), the situation is ambiguous, so none of us should be feigning certainty or declaring premature victory, or pouncing on things for the sake of a "hot take". To gloat that "it's over" is not only premature, but foolhardy even if it does turn out to be over. This stuff is more important than anyone's career as a social commentator.
