Governor Abbott has placed the vaccine mandate issue on the list for the current special session. This is step 1 in hopefully getting some legal protection against mandates from employers. Please, please, please contact Lt. Governor Dan Patrick and Speaker Dade Phelan and request that the following bills be referred to committee.
Contact Lt. Governor Dan Patrick at 512-463-0001 and request that SB80 by Senator Angela Paxton regarding “prohibiting employers from discrimination based on CV19 vaccine status” be referred to committee.
Contact Speaker Dade Phelan at 512-463-1100 and request that HB 182 by Representative Candy Noble regarding “prohibiting employers from discrimination based on CV19 vaccine status” be referred to committee.
You can also give them a brief account on why this is important to you. The more calls they get, the more pressure they will have to move these bills.
