التقارير الصادرة عن وزارة التخطيط وجهات دولية أخرى التي تؤكد تجاوز عدد سكان العاصمة بغداد ٩ ملايين نسمة وبالمرتبة الرابعة ضمن أكثر مدن العالم كثافة سكانية يدق جرس إنذار بأن بلدنا يمر بنمو سكاني غير مسبوق، وإزاء هذا التحدي القائم نحث الحكومة ومؤسساتها المعنية على وضع خطط وبرامج عمل تتناسب مع المرحلتين الراهنة والمقبلة فضلا عن سن التشريعات والقوانين المناسبة التي تنظم وتسهل تقديم الخدمات للمواطن العراقي والإفادة من تجارب التطور العمراني في المنطقة والعالم إضافة إلى إشراك المواطنين بهذه المهمة عبر حملة تثقيفيه واسعة لضمان نجاح معادلة حكومة الخدمة الوطنية المسندة بالالتزام الشعبي الواعي.
The reports announced by the ministry of planning and different other international parties affirm that Baghdad’s population has reached 9 million, ranking 4th among the most populated cities in the world. This is a warning bell of unprecedented population growth. Regarding this challenge, we urge the government and its relevant institutions to establish plans and programs suitable for the current stage and the upcoming one, in addition to legislating laws and regulations to facilitate and organize providing services to Iraqi citizens. Moreover, to benefit from the urban advancement of the region and the world, and with the involvement of the citizens through a broad educational campaign to ensure the success of the National Service Government backed by informed popular adherence.
