On February 23 Speaker of the Armenian Parliament Ararat Mirzoyan received the newly appointed Ambassador of Belarus to Armenia Alexander Konyuk.

Mirzoyan expressed confidence that Minsk will take an unambiguous position on the issue of Armenian prisoners of war in Azerbaijan and will try to facilitate their early return.

In turn, Konyuk stressed the need to comply with the ceasefire agreement in Artsakh and assured that Belarus is ready to make efforts to support the return of prisoners of war.
