The collective opinion of the people and authorities of Artsakh is as follows: we want a comprehensive settlement of the Azerbaijani-Karabakh conflict, we strive for peace, but for us there was, is and will remain the fact that Artsakh cannot be part of Azerbaijan in any status.

Status is interconnected with security, rights and vice versa, but neither the rights nor freedoms of Artsakh can be ensured in any way within Azerbaijan. It's our approach, I think it's a realistic approach.

This was stated by Artsakh Foreign Minister David Babayan, commenting on the statement of Armenian President Vahagn Khachatryan made at a meeting with representatives of the Armenian community of Russia on June 16, that the Artsakh authorities share their point of view on the issue of Artsakh with the Armenian authorities.
