2022-02-09 05:26:09 Due to this week's organisers cancelling the 12pm event at Parliament House AUM & MFR will be running a STAND DOWN DAN event to keep up the weekly consistency.

This means the usual 12pm start at Parliament steps WILL still be happening.

Bring your flags, megaphones, whistles and high spirits.

SHARE FAR AND WIDE LET THE PEOPLE KNOW!!

Edit* There are two events planned for this Saturday. One will kick off at Parliament at 12pm to keep up the weekly consistency and the other one will start at 1:30pm in South Yarra. AUM and MFR are fighting for FREEDOM OF CHOICE and we genuinely support freedom of choice so we trust each and every one of you will choose which event you attend or feel free to Kick it off at Parliament House and then join the second event afterwards.

Where ever you end up on Saturday you will be appreciated, not just by the organisers but by all the people at home that aren’t ready to join the fight yet.

No Industry has been hit as hard by the continued lockdowns as the Live Music Industry such as nightclubs etc. This has resulted in reported losses of $330 Million and the effects on lives, livelihoods and our way of life is beyond comprehension.

After crushing the live music industry Dan now seeks to crush the music at our vigil. We have been told by Victoria Police and Melbourne City Council that this event cannot go ahead as it is not a "legitimate form of protest". We disagree and in response AUM will keep this event running. To do so we need maximum attendance. Please join and MAKE SOME NOISE!!!
