Air travel is considered by many to be safer than going by a car or a train, but that doesn’t mean airline passengers don’t sustain injuries. For example,according to FAA 58 people sustain injuries (including brain concussion) due to turbulence every year. Other people are injured from improperly-stowed baggage falling from overhead bins.
