For anyone who is unfamiliar with history - here's a mini hist | Bethany Cherisse

For anyone who is unfamiliar with history - here's a mini history lesson.

Austria was a federal state of Germany until after World War II. Over 2 million Austrians fought for Germany as part of the armed forces, or participated in the Nazi administration, in every role from death camp personnel to senior leadership. Most of those who implemented the Final Solution were Austrian.

On March 13, 1938, Austria was incorporated into Germany, later approved by the Anschluss. Hitler was welcomed with open arms by the Austrians. The Mauthausen concentration camp was established in Austria in late 1938. The Kristallnacht, or "Night of Broken Glass", pogroms were especially brutal in Austria.

Jewish businesses and synagogues were ransacked and burned all across Vienna. Often in full view of anyone who chose to stand by and witness. Public hatred towards these 'unclean' was strongly encouraged, by high-ranking Austrians who had joined the Nazi ranks. Hundreds of thousands of Austrian Jews were arrested, and deported to either Dachau or Buchenwald [concentration camps]. Vienna served as a central deportation hub.

As for Germany - I shouldn't even need to explain their history to you.

If you are not incredibly alarmed by the fact that Germany and Austria will become the first two countries in the world to impose unvaccinated only home imprisonment, then you are asleep at the wheel.

This is no coincidence.
