Cala reached out via DM to share her sister-in-law, Jennifer's, story. There are absolutely no words for how heartbreaking it is. Jennifer received the first dose of the Moderna vaccine on March 5th, & was admitted to the hospital with a large blood clot in her leg 3 weeks later. Whilst experiencing treatment she suffered from cardiac arrest. A pulmonary embolism was then discovered, & during a procedure to remove parts of it, her lungs were found riddled with tiny inoperable blood clots - thrombocytopenia. Her platelet count stayed incredibly low, & blood disintegrated as quickly as it was administered. 36 hours later all brain function ceased, & the family made the decision to remove life support. She passed away minutes later. Despite being overweight, she had previously been in good health. She was just 39. Cause of death listed as pulmonary embolism & cardiac arrest. The hospital did NOT report to VAERS. Cala did, with her brother's permission. Cala's brother & Jennifer had married just 1 month earlier.
