Addis Ababa Revenue Bureau Collects Birr 12 Billion The Addis Ababa Revenue Bureau collected Birr 12 billion in the first quarter of the current fiscal year. It also announced it will be collecting taxes of Grade A payers until November 09, 2021. According to Mulugeta Tefera, Addis Ababa Revenue Bureau Head, expansion of the task base in Addis Ababa has been one of the major activities carried out in the current fiscal year.
The Bureau plans to collect Birr 48.5 billion in the entire fiscal year. The Bureau has gone more than its plan for the first quarter, collecting Birr 12.26 billion, 5% more on its original plan, Birr 11.59 billion. Compared to the same period last year, the revenue collected during the three months has increased by 40%, Mulugeta specified.
