The New Addis Ababa City Administration Cabinet is to Subsidize Institutions to Alleviate the Social and Economic Burden on the SocietyThe city administration has decided to provide:
* Birr 309,337,500 subsidy to Sheger bread beneficiaries (Horizon Plantation, a sister company of MIDROC Investment Group, will also contribute Birr 199,837,500 for the same purpose)
* Birr 1.9 billion for the 2014 academic year, after considering the Student Nutrition Price Index
* Birr 144 million in health insurance coverage to more than 231,000 low-income people in the city
* Birr 70 million to strengthen the financial capacity of the Addis Ababa City Football Club
