New Targeted Express Entry Draws: List Of Eligible NOC Codes What are these new occupation targeted Express Entry draws?IRCC will now be inviting in-demand skilled workers by focusing on candidates with experience in 82 occupations in key sectors such as healthcare, STEM professions, trades, transport, and agriculture.

New occupation-based Express Entry draws will prioritize candidates with at least 6 months of work experience in one of the following industries over the past 3 years:

1. healthcare
2. science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) professions
3. trades, such as carpenters, plumbers and contractors
4. transport
5. agriculture and agri-food What about the ‘no program specified’ Express Entry draws?IRCC has previously clarified that ‘no program specified’ Express Entry draws will continue alongside the new targeted draws, but number of invitations will reduce in order to accommodate invitations sent out in targeted draws. What effect would targeted Express Entry draws have on the CRS score? It is anticipated that the CRS cutoff score for Express Entry candidates with experience in one of the targeted occupations/NOC codes will decrease.

However, the CRS score cutoff will rise for profiles in ‘no program specified draws’.
