M1: You seem to be having fun with the discussion outside. What were you discussing about?

M1: Tell me what question from us would stress you

M1: Don't worry about workex, we know how people will be in 7 months,

M1: Okay we won't ask about these

F1: You are working...no..you resigned in 2020, what were you doing since then?

M1:  (laughing) Civil service is the standard now... Why civil service? It is a northern trait no?
(Told I have a northern name )

M1: You think to work in core, we need to pursue Masters?

M1: Okay, continue

F1: So, MBA is your plan B
(I told that it was actually plan A, as I took CAT while working itself)

M1: Explain why

F1: Do you want some water?

F1: Okay, how have you fared so far in your UPSC attempts?

F1: You must be reading about Foreign news right? Tell me pros and cons of why we took neutral stand in Russia-Ukraine war

M1: Directly tell the points, no need to explain the decision, Jaisankar has been doing that daily (laughing)

M1: Why not directly tell arms and ammunition?
(Told more strategic was UNSC reform, also told our own situation in Ladakh would be diluted as a con of our stand)

M1: If we say that India has no principles but is an opportunist...would you agree?

M1: Russia violated territorial sovereignty? So India has no principles
(Told that territorial sovereignty etc would flow from mutual respect for treaties, etc. NATO has been militarizing the border violating Minsk agreements)

M1: So, you mean we can invade Nepal, if they get cozy with China
(Told we need to exhaust all non violent and diplomatic efforts first)

M1: (pressed that invasion of Nepal can be justified)
(Told that current situation is culmination of Russia's constant expression of its worries on its border and that it has been expressing and working towards a mutual understanding since 2014)

M1: (nodded) Good.

M2: What excites you about foreign service? You said you want to work in Finance?

F1: He wants to do Finance in Foreign service
M1: (jokingly) that would be hawala

M2: Explain it in better terms. You are passionate about Foreign service.

M1: (intejecting) From his expression, it is clear enough! If we give him a nuclear arsenal he will bring all ASEAN under our control

(Told that we are aiming towards that using our soft power and that would be one of the greatest benefits if it comes to frution)

M2: What are its goals?

M2: Okay, I'm done

F1: What do you prepare for in your free time?
(Told while preparing for Upsc, it was full time, now I have done NISM-Research Analyst and also preparing for CFA level-1 May)

All three: Okay we're done

Overall, a very chill discussion which I very much enjoyed
