2021-05-20 21:47:18 Renewed protests in Armenia as earlier today, PM Nikol Pashinyan announced that he will sign an agreement with Azerbaijan via Russian mediation. Protesters are currently being arrested.

Many Armenian protesters are in the streets demanding PM Nikol Pashinyan to not sign the agreement and to resign. The main avenue has been blocked by protesters in Yerevan, Armenia. Police officers have been deployed and are currently making arrests. Open / Comment

2021-05-20 15:50:24 English version of the document: Armenia, Azerbaijan and Russia are going to sign a new agreement regarding the demarcation of the Armenian-Azerbaijani border. The document on which they’re going to agree has been leaked.


The key factor of the agreement is the establishment of a joint commission between Armenia and Azerbaijan for border demarcation. Russia will mediate the talks.
