There's been a lot of back and forth on whether or not it was a mistake for Trump to accept a debate with Biden given all of Biden's conditions, especially while he's way up in the polls. I think there are pros and cons, but I love that Trump wants to debate. Trump is a purely offensive animal. It's the aggressive, combative attitude that got him the win in 2016. Take the fight directly to Biden. Keep him on his heels.

Also, polls show Trump is winning the most with low-propensity voters. Debates are huge GOTV opportunities. They're like mini-Super Bowls. These moments help drive voters to turn out, and this will directly help Trump.
