Marj Ibn Amer, among the most fertile towns in all of Palestine, has watermelons, olives, melons, cucumbers, prickly pears and other delicacies all growing in its hearty and ancient soil. Just northeast of Jenin, it is known as "Palestine's Bread Basket".
