I wanted to make a separate post to thank the Arab security guards who came all the way from northern Israel (Deir Hanna) to look after the 2500 Jewish children plus adults who attended an early Yom HaAtzmaut celebration for the kindergartens in our city. A few of them were family members who work in this together.
They were very professional, friendly and were very excited to be photographed and recognised for their work. What a great country we have where not only Jews protect Arabs but also Arabs protect Jews.
