Well so much for everybody insisting she would never go to trial, and if she did, she wouldn't be convicted, and if she was, she'd get some light slap on the wrist.

Ghislaine Maxwell is 60 years old. Any sentence of 30 years or above is essentially a life sentence.

Now the goalposts will move to "Well the judge will give her half that or less!" by people who don't know how anything works and don't understand federal sentencing guidelines that federal judges must follow in imposing sentences.
