| To start with the positive, Bruno Fernandes was on the scoresheet and provided yet another assist for Portugal as they beat Bosnia and Herzegovina. The goal was taken clinically after a run in behind, with good chest control before firing into the top corner. Fernandes continues to lead the assists and goal involvements charts for Euro 2024 Qualifying.

| Andre Onana’s Cameroon unfortunately fell to a 1-0 defeat in a friendly against Senegal. He didn’t feature in an earlier loss to Russia, but his inclusion against Senegal shows he remains in the picture having returned to the international fold last month.

| Hannibal was an unused substitute in Tunisia’s 2-0 loss to Japan having featured earlier in the week.

| Victor Lindelof captained Sweden against Belgium as the sides went into half-time level at 1-1. But, due to security concerns after two Swedish fans lost their lives that evening, the match was abandoned at half-time.
