Al Jazeera: Lebanon did not bring up point 29 during Hochstein's meetingsAccording to Al-Jazeera, during Amos Hochstein's meetings today with the Lebanese President and Prime Minister, the Lebanese officials didn't bring up point 29, but returned to its earlier claim of point 23, and of ownership over the "Qana" gas field.
It was reported that Lebanon also demanded that Israeli gas production from the "Karish" gas field be stopped until negotiations are completed.
Hochstein is expected to meet with Israeli officials and hear their position on the Lebanese demands before returning to Beirut with Israel's response.
