Emma:Hi, my name is Emma.
Pete: Nice to meet you, Emma! How are you?
Emma: Nice to meet you too. I’m well, thanks. How are you?
Pete: I’m also well.
Emma: How old are you, Pete?
Pete:I’m 21 years old, and you?
Emma:I’m 20 years old. Where are you from?
Pete:I’m from Scotland, how about you?
Emma: Wow! That’s great! I’m from France.
Pete: I’m sorry Emma, I need to leave now. See you!
Emma: Good-bye, Pete!
2.
INTERMEDIATE Sarah: Hi! Can I sit with you? I’m your new classmate.
Mia: Of course! It’s very nice to meet you! I’m Mia, by the way.
Sarah: I’m Sarah! It’s nice to meet you too. How long have you studied at this school?
Mia: I’ve studied here for 4 and a half years.
Sarah: Oh, that’s quite a long time! I’ve just moved here from another city because my parents work here. I’m glad we moved because I like this school more than my previous one.
Mia: I’m happy to hear that! I hope we become close friends! What are your hobbies?
Sarah: I like to draw and play volleyball. What about you?
Mia: Same! I play on the school volleyball team. You should definitely join our team! We are in need of new players.
Sarah: I really want to! Where can I sign up?
Mia: You can go to the office across and write your name on the paper that‘s on the board. Good luck!
Sarah: Thank you so much for your help, Mia! See you soon!
