US Taiwan Security Bill Could Includes BILLIONS Of Dollars Support

A bipartisan bill has been introduced by two Senators that will revamp Washington’s official relationship with Taiwan and lay the groundwork for $4.5bn in foreign military aid to Taipei.

The proposed law would designate Taiwan a “major non-NATO ally”, ripping up decades of official neutrality, and would “prioritize and expedite” arms sales to the island.

One official source cited by Reuters claimed the Biden administration were uneasy with the bill as it might antagonize Beijing, given it includes stronger sanctions against China.
