GAS CRISIS: Dozens of Danish Companies Face CLOSURE if Energy Supply Reduced (report)

Denmark is facing a gas supply crisis that could lead to a spike in energy prices and the closure of dozens of companies, according to Troels Ranis - director of Confederation of Danish Industry.

"We may end up in a real gas supply crisis with companies being at risk of closing down completely" he told Danish broadcaster DR.

About 50 Danish companies are at risk of having their gas supply cut off in case of an emergency in the Danish gas system. (Danish Energy Agency)
