That said, we can’t sit around and wait for others to determine our fate. I encourage each of you to get involved and stay involved. Religious or medical accommodations are at best a temporary reprieve from the larger fight, and can be revoked at any time by your employer. We need to be taking ownership, not just in this fight for our freedom but in our communities and agencies. Run for precinct committee member, serve as an election official, volunteer for that agency workgroup you think seems superficial and unnecessary. If not us, then who? If not now, then when? You can influence policy and help change the system from within. Now is the time to go on the offense.

If we are disappointed by those in charge of our institutions, it is because we have been complacent for decades while allowing others (in both parties) to push radical agendas undermining our founding principles and constitutional rights. We might be outnumbered and exhausted, but our cause is righteous. We WILL win if we just sacrifice a little time and effort in the coming weeks and months.
