Tomorrow, September 14th, we will start migration of devices (and containers) messages storage system to a microseconds granularity.

The most important effect that you may observe is that messages in device storage won't be merged anymore on a seconds granularity, but on a microseconds granularity - e.g. provide more distinct reflection of what happened to devices. Most of devices are generating messages once per second so you probably won't notice anything. But for those who are using advanced devices that are capable to detect input line switches few times per one second you will be provided with extra possibilities.

The transitioning process will take 1-2 weeks and we suppose completely finish it till the end of September. We do not expect any significant effect to any REST/MQTT operations during the update, maybe you may experience very short delays for some REST queries at some stages of mirror update in some shares, but they should be quite short. At least we will do everything to ensure that update is installed very smooth.

Everybody that is using streams for data delivery to a 3rd party system won't be affected at all as streams are forwarding same messages as received from the channel/device.

flespi analytics system will continue to operate in a seconds granularity mode so far. It will be updated to a microseconds granularity later on a separate basis.
