Description:Responsibilities
The major duties and responsibilities of a video editor and cameramen are:
- Capture high-quality photographs and videos
- Give a complete structure for video-branded content.
- Take a brief to grasp the production team’s needs and specifications
- Trim footage segments and put together the sequence of the film
- Input music, dialogues, graphics, and, effects
- Create rough and final cuts
- Ensure logical sequencing and smooth running
- Consult with stakeholders from the production to the post-production process
- Continuously discover and implement new editing technologies and the industry’s best practices to maximize efficiency.
- find solutions to technical or other practical problems
- assemble, prepare, and set up equipment prior to production,
- The recording and editing process's technical aspects.
- Working together with stakeholders during the production process
Requirements and skills
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role
- Familiarity with Adobe Premier, Adobe After Effect, Adobe Audition, and Adobe Photoshop
- work quickly, especially as timing is such an important factor
- Solid experience with digital technology and editing software package
- set up equipment prior to filming,
- Thorough knowledge of timing, motivation, and continuity
- Strong time management, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrate ability to learn and adapt to new production systems
