BREAKING: Netflix is sending movies to U.S. theaters for the first time in its history for a 45-day period

According to Bloomberg, such an opportunity will give viewers within that period to enjoy new releases exclusively on big screens and then watch them on the service.

The first such films could be the sequel to "Get the Knives" and "Bardo" from Alejandro González Iñárritu. If the formula is successful, then in the future 12 films will be released this way every year.
