Sylvester Stallone smokes a cigar in new photos from the filming of "Kansas City" by Taylor Sheridan
For Stallone himself, this will be the first major TV role of his career. Sheridan, who previously gave Paramount+ the "Yellowstone" and "The Mayor of Kingstown" universes, is co-creating the project.
It centers on Sal, an Italian gangster from New York City, who is forced to move to the most unexpected place, Kansas City, Missouri. There he faces the daunting task of rebuilding his Italian Mafia family in a modernized, simple town.
