Pay attention to verses 1, 4, 5, 7, and 9.

A promise of land to Abraham’s direct descendants , to be taken from the evil and wicked ones (highlighted in Red) and given to the righteous bloodline of Abraham.

Note the land promised.

Now understand, only a little bit, why there are wars in the ME over this land.

If he wants to then argue that it’s just his consciousness that controls his body then I would ask why does your consciousness have illogical emotions like love?

Why does the consciousness seek out companionship such as marriage?

What gives the consciousness morality; The ability to innately know the difference between right and wrong; love and hate; good and evil?

And then why does consciousness, unless broken by life/hate/evil/free will, WANT to choose love/good?

Why do you even get to choose?

Example: if he thinks his consciousness lacks morality then he should be able to kill a baby animal or human with his own hands bc it’s all just a bunch of cells, insignificant in the grander scheme of things, and innate morality doesn’t exist.

Since he likely won’t choose to do that (and if he does you should run away fast) then his “consciousness” soul has a morality- How did it get there?

God gave it to you

1. How did your soul get inside your sack of atoms ?
2. Where did consciousness come from ?
3. What is love

The first two should leave you thinking for a minute so let’s jump Straight to love.

Love :
1. You didn’t need to be taught this. You were born with it.
2. It will make you give of your own energy to others thus defying the LAW of conservation of energy
3. Will cause some people to sacrifice themselves for those they love defying that we operate based on our own survivability

Love is entirely illogical if you base it off of randomness and/or science.

Yet it’s the greatest weapon and stands undefeated against all hate

AND

It’s the greatest gift you could ever give or receive from someone else. Many people search their entire lives for love and are willing to sacrifice food, time, energy, and themselves for it.

Why?

“ ..now faith, hope, love, abide these three; but the GREATEST of these is love.”
