2021-09-04 15:00:02 It is obligatory for all Muslims to advise other Muslims and to help in removing their sadness and difficulties, because whoever alleviates someone’s burden in this life will have their burden alleviated on the Day of Judgement.

2021-09-04 03:00:05Rather, man, against himself, will be a witness.”

(Surah al-Qiyamah, 75:14)

بَلِ ٱلۡإِنسَـٰنُ عَلَىٰ نَفۡسِهِۦ بَصِیرَةٌ

No one knows the true nature of your relationship with your Lord apart from yourself.

Do not be deceived by the praise, for Shaytan will seek to bring about arrogance.

And do not feel harmed by criticism, for Shaytan will seek to bring about despair.

2021-09-03 21:00:01 Abul ‘Āliyyah رحمه الله stated:

A time will come upon the people wherein there hearts will be devoid and derelict of the Qur’ān. They will find neither sweetness nor acquire any delight by its recitation. If they fall short of performing what they have been commanded to do, they will say: ‘Certainly, Allāh is All-Forgiving, Most Merciful.’ If they commit that which they have been forbidden from doing, they will say: ‘We shall be forgiven, we have not associated any partners unto Allāh.’ Their affairs will be based on covetousness [and false hope], possessing no truth [and no sincerity].

2021-09-03 15:00:01 Seeking Closeness to Him

Narrated Anas Ibn Malik (رضي الله عنه):

The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "My Lord says, 'If My slave comes nearer to me for a span, I go nearer to him for a cubit; and if he comes nearer to Me for a cubit, I go nearer to him for the span of outstretched arms; and if he comes to Me walking, I go to him running.'"

2021-09-03 09:00:00 NORMALIZE PRAYING FOR STRANGERS

What if there was something you could do - something simple yet powerful that could have a beneficial impact on others while also changing your life in the process?

When you see a vendor selling goods under the heat of the Sun, pray that may ALLAH grant him more rizq. When you see sick people somewhere, pray for their good health. When you see a man with a broken car at the side of the road, pray that ALLAH eases his affairs.

When you pray for your children, pray for the orphans too. When you pray for your success in exam, pray for your whole classmates too. When you pray for forgiveness, pray for all the Muslims in the world too.

Prophet Muhammad sallallahu a'laihi wassalam said, "The supplication of a Muslim for his brother in absence will certainly be answered. Everytime he makes a supplication for good for his brother, the angel appointed for this particular task will say, 'Ameen, may it be for you too.'" [Muslim]

Understanding and practicing this hadith will show that 'crab mentality' has no basis in Islam. When you pray for goodness for others, the Angels in return will pray for you too and all of the goodness that you asked for others will certainly come to you too in shaa ALLAH.

Let's normalize the culture of praying for others and pray for strangers!

2021-09-02 15:00:02 He/She Is Not Worth It

Ibn al-Qayyim رحمه الله said about the fornicator who does not repent in this life: “He exposes himself to miss out on the enjoyment of al-Hūr al-‘Ayn (the beautiful women of paradise) in the blessed abode of the Paradise of Eden, for Allāh will punish the one who wears silk in this world by depriving him of it on the Day of Resurrection, and He will punish the one who drinks wine in this world by depriving him of it on the Day of Resurrection, so by the same token He will punish the one who enjoyed Harām intimacy in this world.

Indeed everything from Harām matters that a person enjoyed in this world, he will be deprived of its legitimate counterpart in the Hereafter والله المستعان.”
