NORMALIZE PRAYING FOR STRANGERS What if there was something you could do - something simple yet powerful that could have a beneficial impact on others while also changing your life in the process?
When you see a vendor selling goods under the heat of the Sun, pray that may ALLAH grant him more rizq. When you see sick people somewhere, pray for their good health. When you see a man with a broken car at the side of the road, pray that ALLAH eases his affairs.
When you pray for your children, pray for the orphans too. When you pray for your success in exam, pray for your whole classmates too. When you pray for forgiveness, pray for all the Muslims in the world too.
Prophet Muhammad sallallahu a'laihi wassalam said, "
The supplication of a Muslim for his brother in absence will certainly be answered. Everytime he makes a supplication for good for his brother, the angel appointed for this particular task will say, 'Ameen, may it be for you too.'" [Muslim]
Understanding and practicing this hadith will show that 'crab mentality' has no basis in Islam. When you pray for goodness for others, the Angels in return will pray for you too and all of the goodness that you asked for others will certainly come to you too in shaa ALLAH.
Let's normalize the culture of praying for others and pray for strangers!
