Passover represents deliverance. It is a celebration of freedom and the Covenant between God and His people.
"The blood will be a sign for you on the houses where you are, and when I see the blood, I will pass over you..." Ex. 12:13
In the Old Testament, the blood of the Passover lamb protected the Israelites from death. Jesus became our Passover Lamb. Through His sacrifice and the shedding of His Blood, He delivered us from the bondage of sin.
