The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: "You have rushed, O praying person.
When you perform prayer, and then sit, then praise Allah with what He is deserving of, and send Salat upon me, then call upon Him (supplicate to Allah)."Then another man performed prayer after that, so he praised Allah and sent Salat upon the Prophet (ﷺ).

The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) heard a person supplicating in his prayer without having praised Allah, nor having sent Salat upon the Prophet (ﷺ).
So the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: "This man has been hasty."
Then he called him, and said to him, or to another person:
"When one of you supplicates, let him begin by praising Allah and glorifying Him, then let him send Salat upon the Prophet (ﷺ), then let him supplicate with whatever he wishes." : Sunan Abi Dawud 1481 | Hasan
