I could not agree more. The NAP is symptomatic of libertarianism in its pathological form: a childish retreat from taking part in the theatre of the world, a feminine hope that others will protect you and get you what you want, and an abdication from the masculine duty to shape the future. Our enemies use force against us all the time, and by making the first move, gain the advantage. In politics and in culture, you either use force, including by being the initiating party, or you lose. It's as simple as that.
