Anti-Russian signalling is pure discrimination and must stop.
The Russian flag has effectively been banned in certain settings in Victoria (Australian Open namely) I am disgusted with our government for standing idle whilst innocent people, including those who are guests in our country, simply by virtue of their ethnic heritage are singled out, discriminated against, and made to feel unwelcome.
The fact that such large numbers of people are seemingly okay with anti-Russian, ethnically based targeting further demonstrates the propensity that large numbers of people have to be led in unfounded, hateful directions at the behest of government-initiated narratives.
The last flag to be banned in Victoria was the Nazi flag. Is the Victorian government really equating Russia to Nazi Germany?
Every person is free to have their own opinions regarding the conflict in Ukraine, but for God's sake, don't take your views out on innocent Russian people, who have every right to patriotism, as do Ukrainians, or anyone.
