Emergency services crews are responding to reports received from the SA Police of protest action at Oliver Tyres, Louis Fourie Road. According to reports, tyres have been set alight.
Motorists are urged to take an alternative route or to proceed with caution. The preferred alternative is via the N2 as Louis Fourie is closed at Boland Park and Delta.

Nooddienspersoneel reageer op berigte wat van die SA polisie ontvang is oor protesaksies by Oliver Tyres, Louis Fourieweg. Volgens berigte is bande aan die brand gesteek.
Motoriste word versoek om 'n alternatiewe roete te volg of om baie versigtig te wees in die omgewing. Die aanbevole alternatief is vir die N2 aangesien wetstoepassers Louis Fourieweg vir verkeer gesluit het by Boland Park en by Delta.

2021-05-18 09:13:48 Eskom suspends load-shedding from 04:00 today as some generators return to service. However, Eskom has indicated that the system remains vulnerable and that stage 2 load-shedding will resume from 17:00 until 22:00 tonight. Mossel Bay will be affected as follows:
Sun, 16/5: 22h00-00h30
Mon, 17/5: 04h00-06h30
Tues, 18/5: 04h00-06h30 & 12h00-14h30
