West Ham defender Kurt Zouma sentenced to 180 hours of community service and banned from owning cats for five years after pleading guilty to animal abuse .
In February a disturbing video emerged of Zouma abusing his pet cat by kicking it across a kitchen before throwing a pair of shoes at it and slapping its head, while he was heard saying ‘I swear I’ll k*ll it’.
His brother, Yoan Zouma, has been handed 140 hours of community service and is also banned from having cats for five years after filming the incident and posting it on Snapchat.
