Tesla to Slash 10% of Salaried Workforce CEO Elon Musk announced Tuesday that Tesla will be cutting its salaried workforce by 10% over the next 3 months.
The cuts will only apply to employees on a salary, not hourly workers – Musk reportedly stating the layoffs would “not apply to anyone actually building cars, battery packs or installing solar,” according to a report by auto-focused news website Electrek.
Musk was speaking at the Qatar Economic Forum organized by Bloomberg, he also warned that a recession in the US was likely.
