The standard answer in the US after every mass shooting is to want to ban or at least restrict guns.
However, the root cause of the problem is not in gun ownership, but in societal problems, social structure and cohesion (or lack thereof) and economical factors.
Sadly, no one wants to even attempt to address those - not on local, state or federal level.
