Being so negative
I haven't looked back this long
And when I do, it startled me
There was no one around
I am the only one left.
I was that upset
termed stoic
as well heroic
when love begets work
pulling everything to push through.
I may not know it all along
I am a survivor
For that I must believe—be positive
Before focusing to a throng
I have myself first to explore.
